This new recording of Beethoven’s Fourth Piano Concerto coupled with the early Quintet for piano and wind instruments, Op 16 is the second in a cycle performed by the highly-rated French pianist François-Frédéric Guy with Philippe Jordan conducting the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. The first release, which featured the First and Fifth Concertos, received glowing reviews in the music press.
